This website includes moderated comments. It does not include advertisements, third-party analytics tools, or social media scripts.
Access to this website
Stories and approved comments are public. Only the owner signs in through Cloudflare Access to moderate comments. The studio does not operate its own reader account system.
Story comments
When you submit a comment, we store your display name, comment, story, submission time and moderation status. Comments are private until the site owner approves them. Only approved comments and display names are shown to readers. Please do not include private or sensitive information in your comment.
Pending and rejected comments remain accessible only to the owner. Comments are stored in the website database; they are not sent by email. A hashed technical identifier is stored to limit repeated submissions. The private inbox uses the owner’s verified sign-in identity.
Story likes
Likes are optional and do not require an account. When you use the like button, a first-party cookie remembers a random reader identifier for up to one year. The database stores this identifier, the story and the time of the like; only the total is public. Click the heart again to remove your like. Clearing cookies may prevent us from recognising your previous like.
To limit automated or repeated votes, we keep a daily hashed technical identifier and request times for approximately 24 hours; old records are removed when the next vote is processed. This offers basic abuse protection, not a verified count of individual people.
Story visit counts
Opening a story in the reader records a visit. Reloading from the same network address on the same UTC day does not add another visit. This is an approximate count of visits, not a count of unique people or completed reads. Shared networks can count as one visit and changes of network can count again.
The site stores a daily hash derived from the network address, hostname and day, with the story identifier and day. Raw network addresses are not saved in this counter. Old deduplication records are removed on subsequent visits after their two-day counting window; aggregate story totals remain. This counter does not use a tracking cookie or third-party analytics service.
Optional email updates
When available, the email updates link opens a MailerLite signup form. The form explains the subscription and asks you to confirm your email. Subscribing is separate from reading, liking and commenting. You can unsubscribe using the link in each email. We do not collect newsletter email addresses through the comments form, or load MailerLite scripts while you read.
Technical access data
The hosting and security provider may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP addresses, connection logs, or browser information, under its applicable terms. We therefore do not claim that no data is processed.
External resources
The text, styles, scripts, and images in this version are served from our hosting. We do not embed third-party media players or advertising systems.
Future changes
If we add a shop, donations, analytics, forms, or other services that change how data is processed, we will review this page and the relevant legal requirements before enabling them.
